PROGRAMME AT THE TURN OF THE YEAR

For New Year the Tonkunstler Orchestra under Ola Rudner perform a festive, exhilarating programme in the Auditorium, with the cheerful waltzes, polkas, and marches of the Strauss dynasty complemented with orchestral excursions across epochs and styles. In the middle of it all, soprano Claudia Goebl takes us on a journey into the world of opera and operetta with songs and arias by Otto Nicolai, Gaetano Donizetti, Carl Millöcker and Johann Strauss.
