Following his recent appearances with the Mariinsky Orchestra, the celebrated Valery Gergiev returns to the Wolkenturm with the Munich Philharmonic. The concert features Gautier Capuçon in Shostakovich's Cello Concerto No. 1, followed by Brahms's Symphony No. 1, which enabled the composer to emerge from Beethoven's shadow.
