The sound of a single cello can captivate; but hearing 12 cellos in unison is dangerously addictive. The 12 Cellists of the Berlin Philharmonic perform worldwide with diverse programmes and a lot of humour. Some of Grafenegg's past Composers in Residence have written for this virtuoso ensemble, including Brett Dean.
