Jakub Hrůša celebrates music from Eastern Europe in his Grafenegg concert with the Vienna Philharmonic. The Czech conductor has a special relationship with Janáček's late romantic opera «The Cunning Little Vixen». Also on the programme is a rarely heard musical gem: George Enescu's First Suite for Orchestra evokes his Romanian homeland. Rachmaninov's richly orchestrated Symphonic Dances op. 45 brings the programme to a rousing close.
